Kawah Putih (White Crater)
One of the tourist favorite places is Kawah Putih or The White Crater. The view is so great. There is a lake where the crater is beneath it. The white sand and the clean water make the place more dramatics than it used to be. Taking picture is the thing that every visitor should do. This place is supposed to be one of Bandung Volcano.
This place can be reach in 2.5 - 3 Hours from Bandung City, by using a rent car, to the South Area. There is also public transportation, but it is recommended for having a rent car because it more personal and faster. In this area you can also visit some other interesting place, like tea plant with hundred acre to enjoy the view. It is also have a hot water swimming pool. Moreover, there is a lake, with clean water where you can enjoy the time at there by riding a small boat.
Tangkuban Perahu Mountain
The other famous
Bandung Volcano is Tangkuban Perahu. It is located on the North Side of Bandung, near Lembang. The place is more closer that Kawah Putih. It takes 1 - 1.5 hour to get there, depends on the traffic situation. It is an interesting place. There are several crater in this area.
If you have more free time, you can walk on the side of the crater while enjoying the shops on the side of road. There is alot of tradional food, accessories, as well as music tradional and many much others that you can see.
